Life may be hard, but there are people who would make it easy. Those people who would go an extra mile just to make you feel that you are not alone and would accept you despite your flaws and appreciate your every kind deed. College life will never be as hard as what they say because I have with me amazing people who will fill in every blank space with bright colours.

“Many are called, but only few are chosen”, sounds familiar and may be a cliché, but this is true for us. Being students, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, boyfriends and girlfriends, and most of all student leaders are not easy. It requires strength mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. But what keeps me going despite the fact that I know what I entered is a tough job is that I know that after every class I get to go somewhere I can call “home” and people I look forward to just laughing and cracking jokes. People despite the differences are cool and fun to be with and people that I know will always be there to support me in all my endeavours. It’s not all the time that you find people who are talented, skilled, intelligent, and good-looking at the same time. Yeah, I call them siblings-by-heart. I couldn’t think of anything that would define how overwhelmed I am to have them this year and I hope a simple “thank you” is more than enough for me to express how grateful I am to have them.

Well, there are a lot of things I wish I could say here on the virtual world, but since I’m drowning into a lot of ideas I couldn’t put into words, I’d just mention one—the one that struck me, maybe? Okay, let’s get this started. I am thankful for the wonderful opportunity to meet a lot of good people the past year—my UINTASS family in particular. They have been my strength and sanctuary since I proceeded another course and for drama’s sake, (laughing) my life would be such a bore if I didn’t meet them because they made every single day worth looking forward to. If given the chance, I’d make up long melodramatic messages for each of them for me to lengthen my gratitude for extending their arms in welcoming me into their awesome lives. For the few friends whom I’ve already met long time ago and had become a big part of my life, thank you so much for the gift of friendship, the encouragement, and motivation that had put me to where I am now.

This part of my life had opened an idea for me for leadership and maturity. I should say, I’d become more responsible in handling stuffs in school and dealing with other people. Sad to say, they had finished their undergrad studies, but the good thing is, they have embarked lots of wonderful memories in me and the lessons I have learned from them will always be remembered for the rest of my life. ♥
